1:- Combat COVID19 Diagnosis with Combined Test, Outcome: Make Up RT-PCR Shortage and RDB False Negative Coverage

Mohamman Saif Uddin, and Mohammad Mehadi Hasan M. M

Abstract: COVID-19 diagnosis is now a burning issue in the world. WHO certified only reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) technique which is used for diagnosis of COVID-19 but another side rapid dot blot (RDB) test is not recognized by WHO due to false positive and false negative issue. RDB test is so much easier and less time consuming than RT-PCR. Around the world huge people affected with COVID-19 daily but only use of RT-PCR in diagnosis is not cover all the existing cases due to some limitation of this test. Real-time reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assays were used for detection of SARS-CoV-2 from respiratory secretions collected by nasal and oropharyngeal swabs. Due to lack of technology, technical support for a large portion of people are to be undiagnosed, especially in developing country. If we programed a combined test RT-PCR with RDB, we can enhance test efficiency and efficacy. RDB test will make up RT-PCR shortage, by initial screening test of large population, and remain population confirmed by RT-PCR that make up the false negative of initial RDB test. The real result is come out if we work with.

Key Words: COVID-19 diagnosis, RT-PCR, RDB test.

Abstract: Nigeria is repeatedly referred to as the Giant of Africa, due to its large population and economy, with approximately 182 million inhabitants, Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa and the seventh most populous country in the world. Good health is one of the fundamental human rights everybody is entitled to and the onus of this rests on the healthcare sector to provide good health services through the three tiers of the government (federal, state and local government) to the citizens. However, healthcare delivery in Nigeria has experienced progressive deterioration due to weakened political will on the part of successive governments to effectively solve a number of problems that have accumulated in the sector over many years. This paper strategizes a robust plan to ensure the wellbeing of the citizens of Nigeria against COVID-19 and all other illnesses by proposing a framework that presents a three module mechanism for the development of an effective and efficient smart healthcare system amid COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Nigeria. This study recommends that the Government (at all the three tiers) as well as private healthcare providers should look into this proposed framework with the platforms provided during the lockdown session.

4:- The Impact of COVID-19 on Global Economy: The Case of the Czech Republic

Richard Andoh

Abstract: The outbreak of the Covid-19 poses a threat to the global economy. Globally 4,904,413 people have been infected with the novel virus, with substantial plagues in the USA, Russia, and Brazil, and 323,412 deaths in the world. This has great economic ramifications on the global economy, especially the most plagued countries. The impact of Covid-19 will create a huge economic burden on state governments. For example, the IMF has stated the world economy would shrink by 3%. Following the outbreak of the pandemic many countries around the have put restrictive measures on the movement of people, trade, and businesses. The magnitude of the lockdown will greatly affect trade and business around the world. Unemployment is a huge peril as people will be laid off from their jobs. Companies- small and large businesses would be affected. The pandemic will also lower the GDP of many countries. This paper, therefore, examines the impact of the novel virus on the economy of the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic is one of the countries that have been hit by the pandemic. Currently, the total confirmed cases stand at 8,743. Out of this 5,922 have recovered and 306 confirmed dead. Several measures (soft measures) such as random medical checks at major borders, self -quarantine of residents returning from abroad, contact tracing, and (hard measures ) such borders closure, army deployed at borders have been taken by the government to fight the contagion. Others include the provision of welfare services, social and economic support measures, etc. To ameliorate the economy the Czech Republic has received a package of €1.2 billion from the European parliament. The Czech government has also given stimulus packages to businesses to cope with. Accordingly, this paper argues that despite the measures available it will be difficult for the Czech economy to bounce back as already there has been an economic downturn from 2018-2019. State governments can suppress the pandemic, however, allowing the economy to bounce back requires a strategic decision of the central bank and finance ministries.

5:- A Conceptual Framework for Improving Safety Performance by Safety Management practices to Protect Jordanian Nurses During the Coronavirus Outbreak (COVID-19) in 2020

Abdallah Ashour, Zuraida Hassan

Abstract: Safety in the workplace is essential to the ongoing activity, sustainability and optimal functionality of organisations (Singh & Misra, 2020), particularly in developing countries like Jordan. Furthermore, safety at places of work, and through numerous organisational environments is crucial to the ongoing success and survival of organisations such as the medical institutions (Ashour & Hassan, 2019). The demands of improved safety criteria in organisations and specific working conditions for the academics, industrial practitioners and relevant stakeholders have been recognised and emphasised (Dababneh et al., 2018). A conceptual framework for safety performance is developed for this purpose based on the theory of social exchange (SET). The main objective of this study is to establish a framework for investigating the causal link between safety training and cooperation facilitation in the context of accredited Jordanian hospitals which will help prevent the breakdown of coronavirus virus (COVID-19) among nurses. Therefore, this research paper provides a framework that considers the training in safety and cooperation facilitation to be the essential aspects of safety management practices.

Abstract: The novel coronavirus outbreak toward the end of the year 2019 in Wuhan China and the launch of the 5G wireless technology in the same country in early months of 2020 has generated a lot of misconconception around the world about the virus and conspiracy theories about 5G network and COVID-19 from personalities and organizations. There are number of assertions in print and media linking the 5G network to COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. Those assertions includes 5G wireless technology is the cause of COVID-19, 5G network spreads COVID-19 and 5G technology lowers human immunity. In this paper, we present an overview of 5G technology alongside COVID-19 and provide scientific research evidence to show there is no established link between them. COVID-19 is a biological pathogen transmitted through physical contact, while 5G is a radio wave radiation which is non-ionizing and does not spread or transmit the novel coronavirus. Coronavirus is a disease pathogen that affects respiratory system and cannot be spread by advancement in technology.
